Edukasi Keamanan Digital bagi Remaja Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Tarsisius II dalam Menghadapi Risiko Cyberbullying dan Oversharing

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly increased social media use among adolescents, but has also given rise to various risks such as cyberbullying and oversharing. This community service activity was conducted at Tarsisius II High School, West Jakarta, involving approximately 90 students aged 15–18 years. This activity aimed to improve students' digital security literacy through participatory educational methods that included structured seminars, live demonstrations, group discussions, and scenario simulations. The material presented covered digital footprints, forms and impacts of cyberbullying, the risks of oversharing, digital account security, and security in using public networks. The results of the activity demonstrated student enthusiasm and active participation throughout the entire series of activities. Post-activity evaluations showed an increase in students' understanding and awareness of digital security risks. Thus, an interactive and participatory educational approach is considered effective in improving adolescents' understanding of digital security. Therefore, digital security education is recommended to be continuously integrated into the school curriculum.
